Christmas at the Bloomsbury

26 November 2004

The UCL Bloomsbury theatre presents holiday season shows with something for everyone, whether you prefer your travel by air, road or just mucking about in boats.

Toad from 'The Wind in the Willows'

Soho Theatre Company presents Caroline Reid as Pam Ann in Flying with Winter Wonder Pam in 18 shows in December 2004 and January 2005. Flying with Winter Wonder Pam is the very best of Pam Ann and from boarding to landing, she's in charge.

The quintessential air-hostess (circa 1968) will prove to be the shiniest star this Christmas as she takes to the skies for her biggest, brightest flight yet. The trolley dolley from hell's new seasonal spectacular comes hot on the heels of a UK arena tour with Cher and sell-out runs in New York and Sydney.

Following the sell-out success of Roald Dahl's The Twits last Christmas, the classic story of The Wind in the Willows - featuring Mole, Rat, Badger, a river bank, a wild wood, some wicked weasels and the extravagant Toad - is brought magically to life for all the family.

There will be 50 performances of the new production, direct from a sell-out UK tour and performed by SPLATS, one of the UK's leading family theatre companies, renowned for their extraordinary use of amazing masks, live music and animated imagery.
