Ready, SET, Go!

18 May 2004

Calling all promising science, engineering and technology students! Get on your marks for this year's Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) Awards.

Science, Engineering and Technology Student of the Year Awards Described as 'the Oscars of British science and technology education', the SET Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of students and universities alike. Taking place at a Gala Dinner on 20 September 2004 in London, this is your opportunity to win up to £2,000 as well as benefiting from the extensive publicity generated by these prestigious awards.

The competition is open to students who, at the time of entry, are studying for a first-degree course at a university. Lecturers simply nominate a student, who in turn submits a 2,000-word synopsis of a current project. Applications are made online and are accompanied by a citation. The closing date for entries is 23 July 2004.
