Gold medal awarded

Sarah Eisen (Medical School 2003) was awarded the University of London Gold Medal for Medicine on 19 May 2004 for the overall best graduating medical student in the University of London.

The award was presented by Professor Graeme Catto, Head of the General Medical Council, Dean of Medicine at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School and the University of London's Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Medicine.

As runner-up, David Antcliffe (Medical School 2003) won the Beutel Prize. This marked the first time both medals have been awarded to students of a single medical school.
