Experts in Space

Dr Petra Boynton (Primary Care & Population Sciences), Dr Mukulika Banerjee and Dr Nicholas Saunders (Anthropology) are just some of UCL's most prominent experts included in a new exhibition.

'UCL Experts', by photographer Chris Clunn will go on display to the public at 'Torrington Space', the external panels at 1-19 Torrington Place.

UCL experts in the arts and social sciences, biomedicine and sciences have been photographed by Chris for a variety of UCL's publications; a selection are featured in this exhibition.

Chris' career in photography began in 1978. In the 1980s he worked for the UK's leading music paper, New Musical Express, where his pictures of musicians, including REM and Pink Floyd, graced many front covers.

During the 1990s Chris began concentrating on portraits and photographs of London life. He has published 'Eels, Pie & Mash' (1995), as well as 'Bummaree' (2002), portraits of workers at Smithfield market.
