SITS - the perfect fit for UCL

19 November 2003

SITS Ltd, the UK's leading provider of Student and Course Management Systems to Higher Education, have been awarded a prestigious 5 year contract, to supply its leading edge solutions SITS: Vision and e-Vision to University College London (UCL).

The decision to install the SITS suite of software throughout UCL was made after several years of running an in-house student records system. As one of the world's leading universities with a community of 26,700 staff and students, UCL recognised the requirement for a comprehensive and integrated student information system covering the full range of registry, faculty and departmental functional requirements.

Rob Churm, (Project Services Manager) at UCL, comments: "UCL required a replacement system which took into account the needs of our current users, and the evolving needs of UCL and a changing external environment. It was also a pre-requisite that the new system integrated and interfaced with other UCL systems - SITS was by far the best candidate for the provision of a system which met our criteria".

Commenting on UCL becoming an addition to the SITS user base of over 100 institutions of Higher Education across the UK, Steve Hope, Sales Director for SITS, added: "SITS are delighted to be working with UCL which is an important and prestigious addition to our user base. SITS knows that UCL will become a flourishing member of its extensive user group community and we look forward to building a successful relationship with UCL over the next 10 years."
