New Chair of UCL Council sought

Lord Young of Graffham, Chair of Council, retires from Council membership at the end of September 2005.

Council is now conducting a search for a new Chair of Council, the governing body of UCL, from 1 October 2005 (with a view to electing the individual concerned as Vice-Chair from 1 October 2004).

The Council's Nominations Committee invites suggestions from UCL staff and students for suitable candidates for the position of Chair. Suggestions should be sent to Mr Tim Perry, Director of Academic Services and Secretary to Council and the Nominations Committee.
