Evening language courses for staff commence in April

UCL staff can develop their linguistic skills by enrolling on the UCL Language Centre's evening courses.

UCL's language centre All levels are offered and classes are taught by native teachers.

A total of 15 programmes in a number of languages are on offer, from exotic Arabic and Mandarin, to the more familiar French and German. Lasting 11 weeks, a weekly two hour class will be held from 5pm or 7pm. Participants also have access to the Self-Access Centre, which includes a CD-ROM laboratory, satellite television and reference materials.

Classes commence in the week starting 28 April 2003. Staff can enrol up to 15 April 2003 between 3pm and 7pm at the UCL Language Centre, Gower Street.

UCL staff are eligible for a discounted rate of £135 for the summer term. Applicants will have to attend a short assessment interview, unless the applicant is an absolute beginner.
