Information for Presenters

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations should be ten minutes long with two - three minutes for questions at the end, we will need to keep strictly to time.

Presentations will be organised into groups with multiple presenters in each group and and different groups presenting concurrently in different rooms in each session of the day. A full running schedule with which presenters are in each session and room will be published before the conference.

Presentation slides should be emailed to the conference organisers at natsci@ucl.ac.uk by Midday on the Monday April 3rd to ensure a smooth running of the presentations on the day.

There will be a prize awarded at the end of the day for the best presentation.

Poster Presentations

Posters should be A1 in size in either landscape or portrait orientation.

Posters should be put up on posterboards in the cloisters on arrival on April 4th, pins for putting up posters will be provided. Posters must be up by 11am ready for the poster viewing and presentation slot on the schedule (students should be by their posters in this timeframe to answer questions and talk about their research).

There will be a prize awarded at the end of the day for the best poster.
