Research summary
Will has wide ranging interests in energy efficient, sustainable technologies and design, and has spent his entire academic career working with industrial problems. His main expertise is in computational modelling and experimentation of heat transfer. In addition, he has a wealth of experience in additive layer manufacturing.

Biography
Will graduated from the University of Leicester with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering. He worked in industry, before returning to academia where he graduated from Swansea University with an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and an EngD in computational modelling and experimentation of industrial heat transfer problems. He worked as a researcher for the project Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies. Will then joined the management team for the newly formed Doctoral training centre The Materials and Manufacturing Academy at Swansea University. Will joined UCL in 2017 as a Senior Teaching fellow.
