(1) Jessie Renton passed her viva on Friday 25th June. Her thesis, titled "Evolutionary games between epithelial cells: the impact of population structure and tissue dynamics on the success of cooperation", was supervised by Karen Page. Congratulations Dr Renton!
(2) Timo Betcke and Erik Burman (and collaborators beyond the department) have a new EPSRC Excalibur project on "Integrated Simulation at the Exascale: coupling, synthesis and performance". Congratulations to both of them!
(3) I am delighted to be able to share news of senior promotions. These will take effect in October.
