Become A MAPS Digital Student Ambassador

The UCL Mathematical & Physical Sciences Digital Ambassadors are current undergraduate students working with the faculty Marketing and Communications Team.

Our MAPS Digital Ambassadors are creative, confident, social media-savvy individuals who are great at communicating their experiences at UCL and empathising with prospective students. We currently offer two digital ambassador roles to current undergraduate students in the faculty of MAthematcal & Physical Sciences: MAPS Digitial Student Ambassador and MAPS Unibuddy Student Ambassador. These are both paid roles with flexible work that fits around your studies and allows you to gain CV enhancing experience.

MAPS Digital Student Ambassador

As a Digital Student Ambassador you'll create fun and engaging digital content for prospective students interested in UCL. Working with the MAPS Marketing & Communications team you'll get the chance to work flexibly ona  comission basis and show off your creative talents and produce or feature in a range of digital content including blogs, vlogs, social meida takeovers, promotional videos, and online events.

MAPS Unibuddy Student Ambassador

Our Unibuddy Student Ambassadors have the desire to share their experiences with others and help prospective students decide their future! Using the Unibuddy platform, you'll work flexibly, chatting with students from around the world. Through text-based conversations with prospective students you'll share your experiences and answer questions on your programme and what student life is like at UCL.

 We encourage our current undergraduate students to apply to be a Digital Student Ambassador an Unibuddy Student Ambassador or both! Due to the flexible nature of the work, many of our students find time to act in both roles.

When deciding on whether to become a Student Ambassador, please consider how you will manage this work alongside your degree – your studies must be your priority. Please be aware students on a Tier 4/Student Route Visa are limited to certain time restrictions for the work that they do.
