Programme leader: Dr Joseph Jacob
Dr Joseph Jacob is a radiologist and medical researcher. The focus of his research is the application of computational tools to identify and quantify lung damage on computed tomography (CT) scan images.
His team uses machine learning techniques to recognise early changes associated with lung fibrosis on scans from patients participating in lung cancer screening studies.
