He left his three estates of Vale Royal, Lancaster and Maria Bueno in Trelawny, Mount Carmel 'a cattle penn' in St Ann and Tilstone in trust to John Kenyon and his [the testator's] son-in-law James Langdon Reynolds Skinner of London, subject to the provisions of an indenture of 30/04/1841 between him [the testator] and Adam Cliff, Thomas and John Hartley and others providing for the payment of amounts owed to them by John Simpson the testator, for the benefit as to 1/4 each of his sons John and Thomas, and 2/4 between his two daughters Eleanor Lawrence Bradley and Amelia Louisa Simpson, and his [the testator's] natural son John Thomas Simpson of Farndon in Cheshire and James Langdon Skinner, identified as the widower of his [the testators'] late natural daughter Hannah.
