Biography
Father of Timothy Hare Earle and grandfather of Timothy Hare Altabon Earle (both of whom q.v.).
- Will of Timothy Earle of [Moorhouse [sic]] Rickmansworth Hertfordshire proved 30/06/1787. In the will he rehearsed the marriage settlement of his son Timothy Hare Earle and Ann Biscoe under which he [the testator] had settled two estates in St Kitts on the couple, retaining the right to leave his wife Dorothy an annuity of £200 p.a. secured on the estates, which he duly did by his will, together with the interest on £5000 (with the right to bequeath £2000 of this sum to her children at her discretion), all described as in addition to her marriage settlement. He left each of his younger children legacies of £8000 each, in some cases explicitly or implicitly adjusted for amounts already advanced in his lifetime.
