Luminita Olteanu, PhD student at UCL Laws, presented her research on ‘Trade mark reputation and digital advertising: a critical examination of dilution protection in European trade mark law’ at an event organised by the Intellectual Property Discussion Group (University of Oxford).
Luminita’s research project explores the relation between the definition of trade mark reputation, the way it is measured and how dilution harms are structured in the European trade mark law and the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
The research project has been funded by the IBIL Research Scholarship, which Luminita was awarded in 2018 to support her studies. The scholarship covers all university fees and provides an annual stipend for a period of three years.
