Dr Magda Raczynska speaks at 2018 International Conference on Ease of Doing Business

At the invitation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea, Dr Magda Raczynska, Lecturer at UCL Laws, spoke at the 2018 International Conference on Ease of Doing Business on 30th November. 

The conference was attended by nearly 70 delegates from 15 jurisdictions from across Asia, Australasia and Europe, representing national governments, law firms, and international organisations. The focus was on the ease of doing business in light of the measures developed by the World Bank. Dr Raczynska presented on aspects of the “getting credit” measure, specifically on the strength of legal rights of borrowers and lenders under English law of secured transactions.
