Peter K H Tan – LLM Corporate Law 1993

I decided to pursue an LLM at UCL because I wanted the chance to study at a reputable school of law and experience life in Europe. Located in the heart of London, UCL Laws seemed like the perfect place to do so. I loved studying here; meeting my wife is my best memory.

I am currently based in Dubai and am a Chief Commercial Counsel at a multinational corporation. After graduating, my career has taken me to so many different places and I have gained experiences that I would otherwise only dream about.

If I could offer any advice to current UCL Laws students, it would be: make the most of this opportunity to study in London. Where possible, take time to see and experience the world.
