Ethu Crorie – LLM International Law 1999

Ethu Crorie
I graduated with a LLM in 1999, and decided to specialise in International Law. The great reputation of the Faculty of Laws at UCL is what drew me to study here. I really enjoyed getting to know the members of the Faculty – in particular, my lecturers and fellow students.

After my LLM, I was called to the Bar in 2001 and have been a practising barrister ever since. I’m currently based in Southampton, where I work for the largest barristers' chambers in the city. I specialise in fraud, regulatory crime and money laundering matters.

T
he advice I’d give to current UCL Laws students would be to enjoy your time here – make the most of studying and/or living in London by taking advantage of all that London has to offer, including the legal resources. The time really flies by!
