I studied the LLM in Corporate & Commercial Law (2007) as I enjoyed learning about business in a legal context, and UCL Laws was one of the best Law schools in the country.
An LLM degree can lead to careers in different industries – not just Law. As evidence, I have worked as an Accountant, Lecturer, Solicitor, Teacher, and Careers Consultant, since graduating.
I partook in various sports whilst at UCL, including fencing. My favourite memory is fencing for the Men's Team in the BUCS Premier League and winning the Men’s Foil Club competition.
I’d encourage students to makes a conscientious effort to indulge in developmental opportunities and embrace change, since you will inevitably encounter turbulence throughout your career.
