New to UCL?
As a new student to UCL you should receive an email from UCL with information on pre-enrolment and instructions on how to get your UCL user ID. The email is usually sent out at least two weeks before you are due to join UCL. To get your UCL user ID and set a password, please use the link within the email and follow the instructions on that web page.
If you know your UCL user ID and password you can register your mobile phone number by going to the web page - MyAccount Register Phone . This will allow you to reset your password should you forget it.
You can use MyAccount to change your password to something only you know. Your password automatically expires between 100 and 350 days after you set it (depending on the strength of the password you choose).
During the first two weeks of the academic year, additional ISD IT Services information points are available to assist with queries relating to your UCL user ID. Make sure you take your UCL ID card or statement of student status along with you.
If you miss the enrolment process and have not got your UCL user ID, you should notify the ISD IT Services as soon as possible.
If you let us know before 4pm, we will normally be able to get you registered and have your details ready for collection by 10am the next working day. Any enrolment notifications received after 4pm can take up to 2 working days to process.
You will not need to register again to get your UCL user ID and can continue using your UCL user ID. This applies whether you are a returning Undergraduate or if you are returning to start a Postgraduate course; you will keep the same credentials.
If you are a returning student and have not previously received a UCL user ID, visit the ISD IT Services.
