Research computing platform services provides online support for users of the Legion and Grace computing platforms:
- Explore our comprehensive user guides
- Find out how to apply for a user account
- Get service updates and metrics
The following courses are aimed at helping new users to get started with research computing:
- Introduction to high performance & high throughput computing
- Introduction to the Unix Shell
See our training page for access to the online training material and to book a place.
We will endeavour to answer queries on any aspect of computing related to your research whatever your skill level or requirements. If you can't find what you're looking for on the support pages, or you need some advice, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We also have a UCL Research Computing group on Yammer, which provides an informal space you can join to ask us about our services or anything else to do with research computing.
Join the RITS mailing list to stay up to date with news and developments relevant to the Research Computing community.
Academic user advice and oversight is provided to the Research Computing Group through the Computational Resource Allocation Group (CRAG)
The CRAG formerly reported to the Research Computing Group as part of the overall Research IT Governance structure. This has now been replaced by the eResearch domain governance.
