Update 18/2/21 10:30am: Issues logging into Drupal and authenticated UCL websites 16 February 2021

Update 10:30am 18 February 2021

Drupal performance has remained stable overnight and we have had no further reports of issues accessing the content management system. We are still carrying out further investigations into the root cause of the issue.

Please continue to report any issues to the IT Services Desk whether related to access or poor system performance.

Update 3:30pm 17 February 2021

The issue with password changes has now been resolved. If you are still having problems with unrecognised passwords please contact the IT Services Desk. 

We are continuing to investigate issues with Drupal and we will provide a further update at the end of today. We apologise for the ongoing disruption for site editors.

Update 11am 17 February 2021

We are continuing to see issues for a number of users with recent password changes (since Monday) not synchronising to our authentication system. Our access management team are looking into this issue as a matter of urgency.

Separately Drupal performance has been intermittent in the last 24 hours. The sites have remained operational but edit access for a few users has been intermittent. Following puttting a workaround in place Drupal performance is now stable but we are continuing our investigations into the root cause of the issue.

Please continue to report any issues with access to Drupal or authenticated content to the IT Services Desk.

At around 8 am this morning we identified an issue for UCL staff editing Drupal websites and also access to the ROME recruitment system that is accessible via a Drupal page. Other pages and sites that require users to login were also affected. 

We are still seeing issues for some users logging in and  we are carrying out an investigation to determine the root cause and  fix the issue as soon as possible.
