Indigo: add a content footer

You can add a page called content_footer to add the same content to the bottom of every page. It looks like an 'extra' footer and appears above the standard UCL footer on your site.

This guide is aimed at...

  • Staff
  • IT Administrators

Before you start...

You will need to have Chief Editor, Editor or Author access in Silva;
You will need to have attended Silva training.

  1. Avoid using Internet Explorer when editing;
  2. Log on to the relevant website by adding /edit at the end of the web address or clicking on the small cross at the bottom of the page.

  1. Create a Silva document and call it 'content_footer' and put the information you want to appear on every page of your website on the Silva document.
  2. If you need a new version in a lower folder simply add a new content_footer, or if you would like it removed - just add a blank one.
