Add your account/log in to Outlook 2013

You can set-up Outlook 2013 to connect to the live@UCL email and calendar service.

Instructions

1. Open Outlook 2013 and click on the File tab at the top-left hand side of the window.

2. Select Account Settings and then Account Settings again.

3. In the E-mail tab, click on New.

4. Fill in the details for your UCL email and calendar account:

Your Name: Your full name
E-mail Address: Your userID@ucl.ac.uk
Password: Your UCL password
Retype Password: Retype your UCL password

Once you have entered all details, click Next.

5. Outlook 2013 will now attempt to set up your account and you will be prompted with a confirmation message. Click Finish.

6. A message will pop up asking you to restart Outlook for the new changes to take effect. Click OK, close down Outlook and re-open Outlook again.

7. Outlook will now prompt you to enter the user name and password for your email and calendar account. Enter the following information:

User name: Your userID@ucl.ac.uk
Password: Your UCL password

Tick the remember my credentials box if preferred and select OK.

8. Your UCL email and calendar account has now been successfully added within Outlook 2013.
