Régis will explore how the global transition to educational capitalism has affected the cause of education, understood both as an ideal of emancipation and as the construction of the common good for societies.
He will also consider the growing dilution of the individual in capitalist education, and the hyper-individualistic conception of learning and success.
This online event will be particularly useful for researchers, teachers and policymakers.
