The project has led the way in uncovering the intersectional inequalities facing older women and work in Manchester.
This seminar will explore the use of art and participatory research as a means of uncovering inequality narratives and finding solutions through community activism. Elaine will also cover some of the methods as well as the initial results of the project.
This in-person event will be particularly useful for those interested in gender, intersectionality, working lives, midlife, family, equality, activism and community.

Dr Elaine Dewhurst
Senior Lecturer in Employment Law at the University of Manchester
Her main expertise is in equality law, and particularly age equality law.
