Researchers have found it more straightforward to study the intergenerational earnings mobility of men, as women have a less consistent labour market experience, especially during the prime ages when mobility estimates are often obtained.
Jo will use use the wealth of information available in the British Cohort Study to provide a comprehensive account of both earnings and family income mobility for men and women from ages 30-46, looking at the contributions of partnering and differential participation.
This event will be particularly useful for researchers, schools, policymakers and teachers.
Please note this is a hybrid event and can be joined either in-person or online.
