The extent to which young children are tested in school varies markedly internationally. Yet, there is little evidence on the effects of this testing on student outcomes, both in terms of educational performance and wellbeing.

In this seminar, Colin will discuss the effects of testing on student performance and mental health, and teaching practices and engagement.

This event will be particularly useful for researchers, teachers, early years educators and policy makers.

Please note that this is a hybrid event and can be joined in-person or online.
