ELVET

The East London Vocational Education and Training (ELVET) project supports training, apprenticeship and employment opportunities for young people in East London.

The aims of the ELVET project were to:

• facilitate access to training and employment in the digital, creative and health and social care sectors in East London, particularly for people with low income backgrounds.
• develop strategic relationships between East London colleges and employers
• improve learning, employment and apprenticeship outcomes into and within work.  

The ELVET website is now being further developed by New City College Tower Hamlets to showcase the resources created by Newham College, New City College Hackney and Tower Hamlets and Barking and Dagenham College.
