Gender and Feminisms Research Network

The network brings together scholars and students at UCL and beyond, working across the arts, humanities and social and political sciences. Our aim is to explore the points where gender and feminist politics intersect with a diverse range of power relations and social movements. We also want to support broader EDI initiatives at UCL, working towards social change and widening access to research on gender and sexual diversity.

Gender and Sexuality Studies at UCL is based at the Centre for Multidisciplinary and Intercultural Inquiry (CMII).

Staff affiliated to the GFRN teach on the MA Gender, Society and Representation, an inter-faculty programme drawing on the unusual breadth of disciplines for which UCL is renowned, including development studies, law, anthropology, literary scholarship, geography and queer studies. it is also possible to take an MPhil/PhD in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Affiliated staff supervise a range of doctoral projects on gender and feminism.
