Zurich: Kidney Cancer

In Zurich, there were 120 deaths from kidney cancer over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 71 male deaths and 49 female deaths and is based on data from the Statistik Stadt Zürich (Zurich Statistics Office).  The spatial distribution of mortality due to kidney cancer in Zurich is demonstrated in the maps below for men only.  Women have been excluded from this analysis, as female deaths from kidney cancer did not occur in at least 30 percent of Zurich's small areas during the study period.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
