In Zurich, there were 609 deaths
from haematopoietic cancer (cancers of the blood) over the study period (2000 -
2008). This figure consists of 294 male deaths and 315 female deaths and
is based on data from the Statistik Stadt Zürich (Zurich Statistics Office). The spatial distribution of mortality due to
haematopoietic cancer in Zurich is demonstrated in the maps below, shown
