Prague: Ischaemic Heart Disease

In Prague, there were 13,059 deaths from ischaemic heart disease (diseases associated with the blood vessels supplying the heart) over the study period (2003 - 2007).  This figure consists of 6,113 male deaths and 6,946 female deaths and is based on data from the Czech Statistical Office.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to ischaemic heart disease in Prague is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
