London: Respiratory Disease

In London, there were 23,859 deaths from respiratory disease over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 13,199 male deaths and 10,660 female deaths and is based on data from the Office for National Statistics.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to respiratory disease in London is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
