London: Lung Cancer

In London, there were 28,660 deaths from lung cancer over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 17,242 male deaths and 11,418 female deaths and is based on data from the Office for National Statistics.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to lung cancer in London is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
