London: Homicide

In London, there were 333 homicides over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 235 male deaths and 98 female deaths and is based on data from the Office for National Statistics.  The spatial distribution of homicide mortality in London is demonstrated in the maps below for men only. Women have been excluded from this analysis, as female homicides did not occur in at least 30 percent of London's small areas during the study period. For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
