London: Falls

In London, there were 2,359 deaths from falls over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 1,272 male deaths and 1,087 female deaths and is based on data from the Office for National Statistics.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to falls in London is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
