London: Dementia

In London, there were 10,065 deaths from dementia over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 2,832 male deaths and 7,233 female deaths and is based on data from the Office for National Statistics.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to dementia in London is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
