London: Chronic Liver Disease

In London, there were 6,413 deaths from chronic liver disease over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 4,339 male deaths and 2,074 female deaths and is based on data from the Office for National Statistics.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to chronic liver disease in London is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
