London: Alzheimer's Disease

In London, there were 3,340 deaths from Alzheimer's disease over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 1,088 male deaths and 2,252 female deaths and is based on data from the Office for National Statistics.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to Alzheimer's disease in London is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
