Košice: Diabetes Mellitus

In Košice, there were 318 deaths from diabetes mellitus over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 158 male deaths and 160 female deaths and is based on data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to diabetes mellitus in Košice is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
