Brussels: Suicides

In Brussels, there were 498 suicides over the study period (2001 - 2004).  This figure consists of 313 male deaths and 185 female deaths and is based on death certificate records linked to Census data.  The spatial distribution of suicide mortality in Brussels is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
