Brussels: Pharyngeal Cancer

In Brussels, there were 171 deaths from pharyngeal cancer over the study period (2001 - 2004).  This figure consists of 123 male deaths and 48 female deaths and is based on death certificate records linked to Census data.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to pharyngeal cancer in Brussels is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.   For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
