In Barcelona, there were 3,160 deaths from
haematopoietic cancer (cancers of the blood) over the study period (2000 -
2008). This figure consists of 1,599 male deaths and 1,561 female deaths
and is based on data from the Mortality Registry of Catalonia. The
spatial distribution of mortality due to haematopoietic cancer in Barcelona is
