Barcelona: Bladder Cancer

In Barcelona, there were 1,770 deaths from bladder cancer over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 1,397 male deaths and 373 female deaths and is based on data from the Mortality Registry of Catalonia.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to bladder cancer in Barcelona is demonstrated in the maps below for men only.  Women have been excluded from this analysis, as female deaths from bladder cancer did not occur in at least 30 percent of Barcelona's small areas during the study period.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
