The Global Masthead is a persistent navigation device used across all UCL digital properties. It contains global navigation to the UCL homepage, Prospective students, Current students and Staff portals. It also includes the global search.

2. Global search

The search functionality present in the Global Masthead is for site-wide searching UCL.

3. The Banner

The UCL Banner houses the UCL logo and site title. The Banner is a critical part of UCL branding under strict usage guidelines.

4. Content

The UCL typography is designed to meet the offline UCL brand requirements. All important HTML content elements are accounted for within the Design Foundation.

5. Patterns

UCL's digital services can use a wide variety of content patterns to best display their content.
