We are a group of researchers with backgrounds in Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, and Neuroscience. We are researching why only some patients recover from anomia (word finding problems) following stroke. For those who don’t, how the treatment of anomia might be more effective. Our research uses a combination of methods including functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in combination with behavioural testing.
