When did you start using Unitemps?
I started using Unitemps in January 2020 when my department was recruiting some event assistants and temp workers to assist with the administration of our studentship competition.
What has been your experience in using Unitemps for 360 recruited roles (where roles are advertised and shortlisted by Unitemps)?
I recruited 2 temp workers to assist with the administration of our studentship competition in January. Unitemps were very helpful in providing us with a range of CVs and cover letters for suitable applicants quickly. The staff at Unitemps were able to assist with the shortlisting and contacting candidates within tight-timeframes and I felt completely supported by them throughout the whole recruitment process.
How has Unitemps helped you to cut down on your administration time?
Being able to rely on Unitemps managing the liaison with the applicants and short-listed candidates as well as all the contractual arrangements, meant that I could focus on choosing the best people for the job and training them. The payment arrangements through the timesheet approvals are also very user friendly.

How does Unitemps compare to using an external agency?
I felt that Unitemps have a very tailored/customer driven approach to recruitment. The range of candidates provided for each role met my person specification very closely and I was able to choose some excellent temporary workers.
What do you consider are the main benefits of using Unitemps?
Quick reliable service that manages to provide excellent temp workers even at short notice. Great support from the staff that have a strong focus on fulfilling customer needs. Brilliant to be able to employ also current students within UCL getting ad hoc support, while supporting their studies.
Would you recommend Unitemps to other departments?
Yes, absolutely. I had a very good experience and would certainly recommend Unitemps to other colleagues at UCL.
