530 people formed 95 teams for the pilot run of UCL's Steps Challenge in May 2019
In 4 weeks we have collectively walked 159,052,146 steps (around 75,309 miles), which is 3 times around the world!
As teams had different numbers of people in them, an average number of steps per person per team was used to to establish the winners.
Our winners
Week 1
- Most steps - Pimp my Stride (Office of Vice-Provost Health) with an average of 124,132 steps per person for that week
Week 2
- Most steps – Research Physios (GOS Institute of Child Health)
- Best picture voted by our Instagram followers – DAHR Walkers (Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care)
- Most creative picture – Evolution of Exercise by Nephruns (GOS Institute of Child Health)
Week 3
