UCL staff contract categories
1. All employees and workers at UCL are categorised into one of the below staff groups.
2. It is important that staff are categorised correctly, as incorrect categorisation may impact an individual's contractual status and their terms and conditions; and will impact on UCL's reporting, including Government returns, Office for Students reporting , HESA data, REF and TEF reporting, and may impact University ranking and league tables.
3. Only the current job codes and job titles listed below should be used when creating new contracts within Talentlink or transfer of contracts within MyHR Departmental Transactions. The historic codes and job titles listed below must not be used.
4. Job titles must match the job code. e.g., a Lecturer (Teaching) job title must use the job code TCHLTR and not ACALEC.
